Are you interested in the exciting field of photography and video, or just enjoy being around the creative process? Do your friends consider you fun, outgoing, personable and always smiling? Look into joining our team.

 

Kepi Design Company was established in 1991 in Columbia, MD then moved to Baltimore City in 2006 to our brick and mortar commercial space.

 

We offer a professional work environment and we seek creative outgoing individuals who crave learning new skills where needed. As an intern or PT studio assistant you could get to work with a variety of clients and their events. This may include projects from weddings to corporate events, and everything in between while providing excellent customer service.

Our ideal candidate is an artist with customer service background and a self starter. Someone who can walk into a room full of people and make a great impression. 

What We Require: 
• Reliable transportation
• Interns: Ideal and 1st choice will be in an accredited school photography or graphic arts program.
• Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize. 
• Fearless – not afraid to be a bold and friendly. 
Love for using social media and networking with people, and general excitement to learn new skills.

  • And Excellent communication skills with clients and staffers.

 

Spanish bilingual speaking applicants needed!

Please Note: Professional appearance is a must, our dress code is "business casual attire."

 

Studio Assistants: 

Duties include administrative roles, answering phones, scheduling, opening and/or closing the studio while keeping the studio clean and functional for our clients. Also assistants are helping our clients where ever needed, providing excellent communication and great customer service.

A positive team member while keeping the studio clean and organized.

From this experience you will learn from A-Z and have the resources to create and develop your skill level by using the available equipment and studio. (When it's not in use during your off days.)

What you can learn from us:

  • Photography

    • Business, how to find work. 

    • Light, and using light modifiers

    • Exposure, exposure ratios in different light sources

    • Composition

    • Good subject selections, (people, places, or things) for the project goal

    • Model development, training

    • Photoshop

    • Printing

    • Portfolio development

    • Project planning

    • Plus so much more....

 

Training is required and provided at your time expense.

FAQ:

The big question we get is about compensation, what do we pay?

1) Our managers get paid, but our 2) assistants or interns use the the studio to run their business out of, photography, videography, or even pod casting.
